Privacy policy
Kanjeans (“we”, “us”) is run by Shion Koreeda. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you ask us to brush kanji onto your jeans, and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- What you send through the order form: your name, email address, the dates you are in Japan, the number of kanji, the word or idea you have in mind, where you are staying, and your agreement to our terms.
- Your shipping address and phone number, which we ask for by email once your order is confirmed, so we can send your jeans back to you.
- What you tell us by email or during our conversation about your order.
- Payment records (amount and date). Card and PayPal payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange your order: agreeing the details, the brushing, and shipping or handing your jeans back.
- To take payment and keep the records we need for accounting.
- To answer your questions and to contact you about your order.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Who we share it with
- The calligrapher who brushes your piece, only for what they need to make it (for example the word, size and placement).
- Delivery companies (such as Japan Post), with the name, address and phone number they need to deliver your jeans.
- Service providers that help us run the site and our email: the form delivery service (FormSubmit), Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding), Google (email), and the payment provider you use. Some of them process data on servers outside Japan, including in the United States.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your order is in progress and for up to one year after it is complete, then delete it. Records we must keep by law (such as accounting records) are kept for the period the law requires.
5. Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct, delete or stop using the information we hold about you. Email hello@kanjeans.com and we will respond without delay.
6. Cookies and fonts
This site does not use cookies or analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when you open the site.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.

Kanjeans（以下「当サービス」）は、是枝 志穏が運営しています。本ポリシーは、ジーンズへの漢字の手書きをご依頼いただく際に当サービスが取得する個人情報と、その取扱いについて定めるものです。
1. 取得する情報
- 注文フォームにご入力いただく情報（お名前、メールアドレス、日本での滞在期間、漢字の文字数、ご希望の言葉、滞在先のエリア、規約への同意）
- ご注文確定後にメールでお伺いする、ジーンズの返送先の住所・電話番号
- メールやご注文に関するやり取りの中でお知らせいただく情報
- お支払いの記録（金額・日付）。カードおよびPayPalでのお支払いは決済事業者が処理し、当サービスがカード情報を取得・保存することはありません。
2. 利用目的
- ご依頼への返信、内容の確認、制作、ジーンズの返送またはお渡しのため
- 代金のお支払いの受付と、会計上必要な記録の保管のため
- お問い合わせへの回答、ご注文に関するご連絡のため
広告目的での利用や、個人情報の販売は行いません。
3. 第三者への提供・委託
- 制作を担当する書道家に、制作に必要な範囲（言葉、大きさ、位置など）でお伝えします。
- ジーンズの配送のため、配送事業者（日本郵便など）に、配送に必要なお名前・住所・電話番号を提供します。
- サイトとメールの運営のため、フォーム送信サービス（FormSubmit）、Cloudflare（ホスティング・メール転送）、Google（メール）、お客様が利用する決済事業者に取扱いを委託します。これらの事業者は、米国を含む日本国外のサーバーで情報を処理する場合があります。
- 法令に基づき開示を求められた場合は、公的機関に提供することがあります。
4. 保管期間
ご注文の対応中、およびお渡し完了から最長1年間保管し、その後削除します。会計記録など法令で保存が義務付けられているものは、定められた期間保管します。
5. 開示・訂正・削除等のご請求
保有する個人情報の開示、訂正、削除、利用停止をご希望の場合は、hello@kanjeans.com までご連絡ください。遅滞なく対応いたします。
6. Cookie とフォント
本サイトは Cookie やアクセス解析を使用していません。フォントを Google Fonts から読み込むため、閲覧時に Google が IP アドレスを取得する場合があります。
7. 改定
本ポリシーを改定する場合は、改定日とともに本ページに掲載します。
